So. Next week is the beginning of finals. Am I prepared? No. Actually I'm just really depressed right now. Really depressed. I probably shouldn't even be in here right now; should be doing my Anthro and Japanese projects for later this week. I want this semester to be over so I can drown myself in video games and my mindless scanning job. I shouldn't be depressed right now; I got a card from my Japanese TA that says the following (only in Japanese): Congratulations on getting a perfect score on every vocabulary quiz this semester! Compared to the other tests, the vocab quizzes are pretty easy, but getting 100 points on all of them is difficult, I think. Awesome! Be sure to keep working hard, ne? Enclosed was the last vocab quiz we took this semester, with a sticker on it. She told me after class (when I stopped to thank her for it) that she's going to be at Kansai Gaidai (the school I'm going on exchange to) next semester, so she'll be sure to keep an eye out for me, and I promised to do the same. That was pretty awesome considering how bad the class before that (History) was. First of all, I was late to it for reasons I won't talk about here. Second of all, at the end, they put out the big assignment that we did two weeks ago that they finally graded. Went to collect mine, but some dumb bitch was too impatient to wait her turn, so she snatched hers out from under my hand and sliced my fucking thumb open. Mine wasn't even in the pile. Talked to the TA and he said I did "very well" and "would it be okay if I kept it until Friday?" which leads me to the assumption that he wants to make an example of it. I love how I spent all of one night before the due date writing that piece of crap. Whatever. My RA came around with a petition and asked me where I've been all semester cuz he only sees me when I leave to do laundry and things. I told him that's because I study all the time. He said I shouldn't do just that. Ha. Hahahaha. Yeah, okay. What else am I going to do, go to a party and get drunk off my ass? No thank you. I'd rather burn to death. That being said, Cait and Megan and Melissa and I (and others, if we can get more people on board) want to go to Panda East and karaoke on Friday for Post-Japanese-Project Celebratory Matters of Dire ImportanceTM. But I'm still depressed. Wasted enough time now. Gonna go try to work on my Anthro project. Do something other than study... ha. Kiss my ass, ZooMass. 15 days. Get me the fuck out of here.
