Not anything hugely entertaining, but I at least left the dorm two days in a row. Yesterday I went to Umeda and saw "Silk", which was thankfully in English with Japanese subtitles, so no dubbing, yay. Kept hearing the Japanese version of the "Sweeney Todd" soundtrack out in the lobby, though, which was fecking hilarious. You know what's awesome about Umeda? THEY HAVE A FUCKING SUBWAY. AS IN THE DELICIOUS-SANDWICH-SELLING SHOP. SUBWAY: EAT FRESH!SUBWAY. HOLY SHIT. Roast beef sandwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiich~ sogoodsogoodsogoodomgomgomg Will be going back there; oh yes. You know what's not awesome about Umeda? Their subway/train station. It's HUGE. Eliza and I got so fecking lost for a couple of minutes because the signs were like, "WE'RE TORMENTING YOOOOOOOOOOU~" Today I went to the post office and the grocery store. IRL STORIES LOLOLOL. *cough* And now I'm broke, but it's too late in the afternoon to go looking for an ATM machine cuz they'll all be closed by the time I get to them at this point. (Yes, the ATMs here close. They are not 24-hour ATMs. It kind of blows.) Now I am stuffing my face with cookies and drinking an apple-juice called Qoo. That has a picture of a constipated-looking blue creature on the front. Say it with me, now... "Oh, Japan..."
